Welcome One and All

Welcome to our Blog! This is going to be so much fun! This blog is not limited to just one type of craft. While our favorite is scrapbooking (layouts and cards), we venture into altering items, painting, decopage art, and much much more. We're always up for trying something new and for making our mark on the world. Hope you enjoy our projects and are able to draw lots of inspiration and make your own mark!

On a Wednesday Afternoon.....

I just love this photo.  I took it at the Botanicle Gardens.  It's of my three kids and my grandmother (their great grandmother) and I just love it.  This was a bit of a challenge for me.  I knew what I wanted to do with this layout before I started, just didn't know what photo to use.  It was a last minute decision to use this one.  But I think it works beautifully.  This kit was from Walmart and I'm going to def be making more out of it this coming week.

A friend of mine just graduated from comotology school and she wanted to give her professor something with her favorite quote on it.  I whipped this up very quickly and love the simplicity of it.  I can definately see myself making a few more of them soon.

  1. I love it Krista! Is the "Wish upon a star" from the kit? I would love to have that for a Disney LO and I was wondering if it is a stamp?

  2. it is! this kit is actually from Walmart for only $5!!! Its green, purple, and cream colored and comes with a lot of words and title stuff. The only thing I added that wasn't in the kit was the ribbon and the solid cardstock.
